Man Charged Over Shocking Monkey Noises on London Tube
A 24-year-old man has been charged after making monkey noises and actions at a fellow passenger on the London Underground.
Incident at Stockwell Station
The shocking racial harassment took place just before midnight on Friday 8 March, aboard a tube train at Stockwell station. The victim, a man in his 20s, was targeted with offensive and threatening behaviour.
Charged with Racially Aggravated Harassment
- William Gratton, 24, from Huron Road, London, faces charges of racially aggravated harassment and threatening behaviour.
- He is currently on bail.
- Gratton is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates Court on Thursday 20 June.
