Man Left With Serious Head Injury After Heated Dagenham Car Sale Row
A man suffered a serious head injury following a fiery dispute over a car sale in Dagenham. The incident has sparked a police probe for grievous bodily harm (GBH).
Car Sale Dispute Turns Violent on Marlborough Road
Emergency services rushed to Marlborough Road shortly after 10:15am on Thursday, April 17, where police quickly sealed off the area and launched a crime scene investigation.
It’s understood the fight broke out after the buyer returned a vehicle, demanding a fault be fixed. When the seller refused, tempers flared. The row escalated violently, leaving one man badly hurt.
Driver Flees Scene as Police Hunt Hit-and-Run Vehicle
London Ambulance Service treated the injured man at the scene before rushing him to hospital. Thankfully, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The car involved did not stop after the altercation. Police are urgently searching for the vehicle and its driver.
Police Appeal for Witnesses as Investigation Continues
A Met Police spokesman said: “Officers were called at around 9.35am following reports of a man injured after a collision with a car in Marlborough Road.”
“A crime scene remains in place and enquiries are ongoing. There have been no arrests so far.”
