A Year of Night-Time Thefts Exposed
Loveridge admitted targeting 12 offences between December 2018 and October 2019. His focus? Performance and luxury cars left outside homes in the Thames Valley area. He struck while victims were fast asleep, leaving families traumatised.
Police Praise Joint Investigation Effort
“John Loveridge is a career criminal who was actively targeting properties in Bicester, Didcot and Aylesbury that had high value or performance vehicles outside,” said Detective Constables Claire Rennie and Richard Whitcombe. “Despite being arrested and released on bail, he kept up his crime spree, striking overnight when victims were asleep. This has been a joint operation across Thames Valley and neighbouring forces. We’re glad he pleaded guilty and that victims can now find some closure.”
