Man Attacked Near Liscard Pond in Early Morning Assault
Police launch urgent appeal after a 25-year-old man was assaulted near Central Park, Liscard, in the early hours of Saturday, 8 June.
Stepping Through the Shadows: Attack at Midnight
The victim told officers he was walking home through Central Park around midnight when a group of men confronted him by the pond. One man attacked him with an unknown weapon, leaving him injured in the abdomen.
He initially returned home but later sought treatment at Arrowe Park Hospital at 7am. Thankfully, his injury is not thought to be life-threatening.
Police Hunt Witnesses as Inquiry Gathers Pace
The motive behind the attack remains unclear. Police are combing CCTV footage from the area as they probe the incident.
