Police Probe Shocking Assault on Cyclist in Edenbridge
Officers investigating a serious assault on a cyclist in Edenbridge have released images of a man they want to question. The attack happened on Saturday, 22 July 2023, as a woman cycled along Marsh Green Road towards Lingfield.
Woman Pushed From Bike by Passenger in Black Vauxhall Astra
It’s alleged the victim was shoved from her bike by a passenger in a black Vauxhall Astra that pulled up alongside her. She crashed into a ditch and was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Information
Inspector Christopher Ward of the Sevenoaks Community Safety Unit said: “Our officers have been investigating this for months. Following new developments, we can now release images of a man who might help with enquiries.”
“I urge anyone who recognises him to contact us immediately. We also want to hear from other cyclists who may have witnessed or experienced similar incidents.”
