Police swooped after pulling over a BMW on Tonbridge Road on the evening of January 20, 2025. Officers were acting on reports of shady behaviour when they stopped the vehicle near Maidstone.
Driver Aaron Carr caught with drugs and cash
The driver, 43-year-old Aaron Carr from Ewell Avenue, West Malling, was arrested after officers found a small stash of drugs and over £2,000 in cash in the car. But that was just the start.
Raid on West Malling property uncovers huge haul
Following the stop, police searched a West Malling home linked to Carr. They discovered two large blocks of cocaine totalling nearly three kilos. Another £19,000 in cash was also seized from the property.
Court appearance and upcoming trial
Carr was charged with possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possession of criminal property. He appeared at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court on January 22 and was remanded in custody. His trial is set for Maidstone Crown Court on February 20, 2025.
This major bust underlines local police efforts to fight organised crime and drug dealing in the region.
