Teen Locked Out of Petersfield and Liss After String of Crimes

A 16-year-old boy from Bosham has been banned from entering Petersfield and Liss town centres for three months. The youth, whose name is withheld for legal reasons, admitted to multiple offences including assaults and drug possession.

Serious Charges Lead to Tough Sentencing

At Basingstoke Youth Court, the teenager pleaded guilty to assaults in Petersfield and Liss, as well as possession of cocaine, cannabis, and MDMA. He also admitted to affray, using threatening behaviour, and causing criminal damage.

Youth Rehabilitation and Curfew Imposed

The court handed down a 24-month Youth Rehabilitation Order with Intensive Supervision. Additionally, the teen must adhere to a strict curfew from 8pm to 6am for four months. The exclusion order bars him from coming within two miles of either town centre, aiming to keep the peace in both communities.
