Third Woman Bailed in Portsmouth Double Stabbing Probe
Police have bailed a third woman arrested in connection with the stabbing of two men in Portsmouth. The violent assault happened on Somers Road last Friday, March 3.
New Bail in Double Stabbing Case
The latest suspect, a 35-year-old woman with no fixed address, was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and involvement in class A drug supply. She has been bailed until April 28.
Earlier Arrests and Victims’ Condition
- Earlier, a 35-year-old Portsmouth woman and a 26-year-old Southsea woman were held on suspicion of assisting an offender and causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
- Both women were bailed until April 26.
- A 50-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries.
- A 31-year-old man was seriously hurt in the attack.
Witness Appeal as Police Hunt Two Men
Police are seeking information on two men spotted near Somers Road around the time of the stabbing. Both are described as mixed race or black, in their 20s, wearing tracksuits.
“If you have any information, please contact police on 101 quoting the relevant case number,” authorities urged.
