Basingstoke Nurse Killed in Shocking Deer Crash on A33

A tragic accident early yesterday morning claimed the life of 24-year-old Ivory Lapitan, a nurse from Basingstoke. The heartbreaking crash happened after a deer darted in front of her Peugeot 306, causing her vehicle to collide with the animal and then crash into a tree on the A33.

Accident Details: Early Morning Horror

The smash unfolded just after 6.30am when a passing motorist witnessed the horror and quickly called emergency services. Ivory’s car hit the deer, sending her off the road into a tree near Basingstoke. She was believed to be on her way to study at the University of Southampton.

Friends Mourn Nurse’s Sudden Death

Ivory’s friends have poured out their grief, remembering her as full of life and kindness.

Investigation Underway

An inquest into the fatal collision has been opened and adjourned as authorities continue their investigation. The community mourns the loss of a bright young nurse taken too soon in a freak accident.
