Teen Trio Nabbed After £10k Boots Shoplift
Three teenagers sparked a high street drama on Sunday, June 12, when they allegedly swiped cosmetic goods from Boots.
Quick Police Response and CCTV Hunt
Officers were called at 2.33pm and teamed up with town centre CCTV operators to track down the suspects. By 3.10pm, they had caught three teens who had travelled all the way from Walthamstow.
£10,260 Worth of Stolen Cosmetics Recovered
The haul included a large stash of beauty items with a total estimated value of £10,260. The suspects—a 15-year-old boy, a 14-year-old, and a 17-year-old—were arrested on the spot.
Theft Charges and Court Date Set
All three have been charged with theft and given bail. They are due to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court on July 18.
