Portsmouth Man Jailed for Three Years After Two-Month Burglary Spree
John Hancock Caught After Ten Burglaries Across Portchester and Paulsgrove
A Portsmouth crook has been locked up for three years and three months following a daring two-month crime spree. Andrew Keith John Hancock, from Deerhurst Crescent, struck TEN homes between February 25 and April 17 this year.
Loot Included Games Consoles, Jewellery, and an £15 Stash
Hancock targeted properties across Portchester and Paulsgrove, hitting streets like Portsdown Road, Browning Avenue, and Lime Grove. The haul also stretched to Fareham, with raids on Hill Road, Winterbourne Road, Portsview Avenue, and Edward Grove.
The stolen goods list included computer games consoles, jewellery, and various other items—worth a fortune to Hancock but a nightmare for the victims.
Justice Served for Portsmouth Residents
With Hancock now behind bars, locals can breathe easier knowing their neighbourhoods are a bit safer. The court’s tough sentence sends a clear warning to burglars lurking around the area.
