Shocking Child Sex Abuse Horror in Sunderland
Taranvir Galsinh, 45, locked up for over 11 years after raping and sexually assaulting two underage girls in a terrifying case exposed in Sunderland.
Galsinh lured a 14-year-old girl to a hotel, where he raped and abused her, even paying her afterward. His evil didn’t stop there – he repeatedly assaulted her in a car and once tried to strangle her.
He also raped a second victim, just 12 years old, forcing her into sex acts and paying her as well.
Galsinh pleaded guilty at Durham Crown Court in July to multiple charges: rape, sexual assault, intentional strangulation, and paying minors for sex.
The court slapped him with a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and lifetime restraining orders to protect both survivors.
Five Men Jailed for Almost 40 Years in Gateshead Child Sex Gang Crackdown
Northumbria Police smash depraved child exploitation ring in Gateshead, sending five men to prison for a combined sentence of nearly 40 years.
The gang abused six girls aged 13 to 15 over several years from 2014 to 2019.
Following a painstaking investigation and an eight-week trial at Newcastle Crown Court, five men were convicted of 31 offences including multiple rapes, sexual assault, blackmail, drug supply, and distributing child abuse images. One suspect was cleared.

- Leonard Paun, 24 – 5 years 1 month for multiple rapes, sexual offences with a child, drug supply & spreading child abuse images
