Kent Police swung into action after a burglary was reported in progress at a block of flats near Maritime Way, Chatham. The call came through at 10:23 PM on Tuesday, February 4, 2025. Officers quickly arrived on the scene and arrested a man in his 30s from Bethnal Green, London.
Stolen Parcels Recovered on Site
A swift search uncovered two parcels and revealed that several packages in communal areas had been opened and their contents stolen. Authorities linked these thefts to the suspect caught at the scene.
The suspect has since been bailed as investigations continue.
