Man Seriously Assaulted in Shocking New Romney Road Rage
Police are hunting witnesses after a nasty attack left a man with a head injury in New Romney.
Van Driver and Woman Clash on Narrow Road
On Wednesday 14 December 2022, between 3.45pm and 6pm, trouble flared on a tight stretch of Church Lane. A man behind the wheel of a white van and a woman driving a black Volkswagen Golf reportedly locked horns when their vehicles couldn’t pass each other.
Two Men Launch Brutal Assault
The van driver was jumped by two men at the scene. The victim suffered a head injury and was rushed to hospital for treatment.
Police Seek Suspect and Witnesses
One suspect is described as a white male, early 40s, around 5ft 7ins tall, with short brown mousey hair. He wore a black jacket, body warmer, and matching bottoms.
Officers have spoken to several witnesses but believe others with mobile or dashcam footage have yet to come forward.
