Mercedes Leads Police on Dangerous Pursuit
At 8.09pm on Tuesday, 26 November, a Mercedes saloon refused to stop for police on Harefield Road, Uxbridge. Officers launched an authorised pursuit but called it off after a short distance due to the suspect’s reckless driving.
Pedestrian Hurt at Oxford Road Roundabout
The chase took a grim turn when the Mercedes collided with a male pedestrian at the Oxford Road Roundabout. The man suffered an arm injury and was rushed to a West London hospital. Thankfully, his condition is not life-threatening.
Car Crash at Grainges Yard Ends Pursuit
The suspect didn’t stop there. The vehicle sped on to Grainges Yard Car Park, where it smashed into another car. Two bystanders were also hurt, but their injuries were minor. After the crash, the suspect ditched the Mercedes and fled on foot.
Investigation Underway
Police remain on the hunt as enquiries continue. The Met’s Directorate of Professional Standards has been notified, signaling a serious probe into the incident.
