Wayne Couzens, the disgraced ex-Met officer who murdered Sarah Everard, has admitted to three counts of indecent exposure.
Couzens’ Shocking New Guilty Pleas
The indecent exposure offences date back to incidents in Kent – one in Deal during 2020 and two at a McDonald’s in Swanley in February 2021.
Prosecution Drops Three Other Counts
At the Old Bailey, prosecutors confirmed they will not pursue the remaining three charges, which have been left on file.
Couzens Appears From Prison
Couzens pleaded guilty via video link from Frankland Prison in Durham. The grim-faced former officer, sporting a long grey beard and grey tracksuit, is already serving a life sentence for kidnapping, raping, and murdering Sarah Everard.
The sentencing hearing is set for 6 March, as the justice system continues to untangle Couzens’ dark history.
