Slough Stabbing Horror: Teen Killed by Single Chest Wound

A tragic stabbing in Wexham has claimed the life of an 18-year-old man from Slough. Thames Valley Police are hunting for answers after the fatal attack.

Single Stab Wound Kills Teen

Just before 8pm on Saturday (4 January), emergency services were rushed to Benjamin Lane, Wexham, following reports of a stabbing. The victim, 18-year-old Mohammed Aman Ashraq, was quickly taken to Wexham Park Hospital but sadly died later that night.

A post-mortem examination confirmed the cause of death was a single stab wound to the chest and abdomen.

Two Men Arrested on Murder Suspicion

Police have arrested two 18-year-old men from Slough on suspicion of murder. Both suspects remain in custody after further detention warrants were granted at Slough Magistrates Court on Monday (6 January).

Benjamin Lane’s road closure has been lifted, but officers continue to guard the scene as investigations press on.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Det Insp Dejan Avramovic said: “We are following several lines of enquiry and supporting Mohammed’s family with specially trained officers. We urge anyone with information to come forward.”

He added: “Call 101 quoting reference 1118 4/1/20 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

Superintendent Lee Barnham expressed condolences, saying: “This is a tragic loss. Our thoughts are with Mohammed’s family and the local community.”
