Glass Attack Sparks Fury as Man Sentenced to Over Four Years
Gary Jordan, 50, from Windmill Avenue, Wokingham, was slammed with a four-year-six-month sentence at Reading Crown Court yesterday. The brute shattered a glass in a man’s face, leaving the victim, in his twenties, with serious facial injuries.
Pub Brawl Turns Brutal on Peach Street
Just before midnight on 30 September 2023, chaos erupted inside a Peach Street pub. Jordan launched the vicious attack, smashing a glass against the victim’s face. The poor man needed urgent medical care for deep, nasty wounds. Jordan was nabbed a week later, on 7 October 2023, and finally charged in July. After a four-day trial, a unanimous jury found him guilty of wounding with intent.
