Man Stabbed in Broad Daylight on New Park Road
Police rushed to New Park Road at around 1.41pm after reports of a stabbing sent shockwaves through the neighbourhood. Store staff sprang into action, using tissue rolls to stem the bleeding before officers arrived.
Police Step In with Emergency First Aid
Officers gave crucial first aid to the 25-year-old victim, who had multiple stab wounds, before paramedics from the ambulance service took over. The man was swiftly taken to hospital, where thankfully his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
No Arrests Yet as Investigation Continues
Despite the dramatic scene, police have made no arrests. Enquiries are ongoing as officers scramble to piece together what happened.
