Body of 91-Year-Old Man Found in Thames Valley River
Thames Valley Police were called to the river yesterday morning around 11.20am after reports of a body in the water. Today (Saturday, April 8), authorities confirmed the grim discovery of a 91-year-old man’s body.
Death Treated as Unexplained but Not Suspicious
No formal identification has been made yet. Police said the death is being treated as “unexplained, but not suspicious.” Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service recovered the body shortly after the call-out.
Investigation Underway with Coroner’s Report Pending
Officers confirmed the death is being investigated thoroughly. A file will be prepared for the coroner as part of standard procedures.
