Man Dies After Horror Two-Car Smash in Wanstead
Detectives are hunting for witnesses after a fatal two-car crash in Wanstead early Thursday morning.
Crash Under Green Man Roundabout
Police were called just after 2am on 6 September following reports of a serious collision under the Green Man Roundabout on the A12 Eastbound, Waltham Forest.
An Audi and a Range Rover smashed violently, leaving both cars wrecked. The Audi driver, a man in his late twenties, suffered critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed.
Injuries and Arrests
- Several others, including the blue Range Rover driver and passengers from both cars, were rushed to an East London hospital. Thankfully, none had life-threatening injuries.
- Police arrested four people from the Range Rover on suspicion of drug offences and causing death by dangerous driving.

Road closures remain in place with motorists urged to avoid the area.
