Woman in 90s Seriously Injured in Poole Crash
Dorset Police are hunting for witnesses after a serious smash on Blandford Road North, Poole. The crash, which happened at 9:13am on Saturday, January 6, 2024, involved a blue Ford Focus and a pedestrian.
Emergency Services Rush to Scene
The pedestrian, an elderly woman in her 90s, was rushed to hospital with very serious injuries. Her family have been informed.
Police Plea: Dashcam Footage Needed
Sergeant Richard Stroud, leading the Roads Policing Team, is desperate for anyone with information to come forward. “We want to understand exactly how this happened,” he said. He also urged drivers who were in the area at the time to check their dashcams for footage that might help the investigation.
