Newborn Abandoned Outside Darent Valley Hospital – Police Hunt Mystery Mum
Detectives are urgently hunting the mother of a newborn baby found alone outside Darent Valley Hospital just after 3am on Friday, 24 May 2019. Kent Police have released details of a dark, four-door saloon car they believe could hold vital clues.
Baby Found Safe and Sound
The tiny infant is safe, uninjured, and being cared for by hospital staff. Officers are working round the clock, desperate to find the mother and check she is okay.
Police Seek Crucial Dashcam Footage
- Motorists near the hospital between 2:30am and 3:30am are urged to check dashcam videos.
- Any footage showing a dark saloon car could be key to cracking the case.
Detective Plea: ‘We Just Want to Help’
Detective Superintendent Gavin Moss said: “It is really important that we locate the mother to ensure her safety and provide any support she needs. There is nothing to fear by coming forward.” “I urge her to call us on 999 immediately. Anyone with information, no matter how small, should quote 24-0117 and get in touch.”
