Four people were hurt in a shocking attack at a pub, including a 28-year-old man from Beechwood, Wirral, who remains in hospital. Police have swooped, arresting a 30-year-old man from Tranmere on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. A 19-year-old woman from Rock Ferry was also nabbed, suspected of conspiracy to murder.
Two Arrests Made in Brutal Pub Shooting
The suspects are now in custody and being grilled by detectives as the investigation into Elle’s murder heats up. Officers are desperate for anyone with info to come forward and help crack the case.
Detective Appeals for Witnesses and Footage
“We have made two arrests in connection with this cold-blooded shooting,” said Detective Superintendent Sue Coombs from Major Crime Investigations.
“Elle’s family are still coming to terms with their tragic loss. Our specially trained officers are supporting them through this terrible time.”
“We will not rest until those responsible face justice. Anyone who was at the Lighthouse Inn during the incident, or has mobile or CCTV footage, must get in touch urgently.”
“We also urge motorists and local residents to check their dashcams and CCTV. Every piece of evidence counts.”
