Serious Crash Shuts Isle of Sheppey Road Late Sunday
A major collision has shut Marine Parade on the Isle of Sheppey just after 11pm Sunday night. The crash happened near the CYC Coastal Club, forcing a full road closure in both directions as emergency crews rush the scene.
Vehicle Crashes Into Speed Camera and Sea Defences
A silver Peugeot careered off the road at speed, smashing into a speed camera sign before bouncing dangerously off sea defences. The impact tore off the rear driver’s side and rear passenger wheels. Debris and vehicle fluids littered the road.
Driver Injured and Arrested for Drink Driving
Paramedics treated the lone driver at the scene and put him on a stretcher.
