Tribute to Young Biker Killed in Penwood Crash

The family of 21-year-old motorcyclist Ashley Herring have paid an emotional tribute after his tragic death in a Penwood collision near Basingstoke.

Tragedy on Foxs Lane

Ashley, from Maynard Close, Berkshire, died after crashing his Yamaha motorcycle in a single-vehicle collision on Foxs Lane at around 7.30pm on Wednesday, 24 May. The young rider was doing what he loved when the fatal accident occurred.

Family’s Heartfelt Tribute

“Ashley was the life and soul of any event. He always had something funny to say. The one to make everyone laugh. He died doing what he loved – pushing the limits. Always in our hearts, never forgotten. Love always, Mum, Dad, Gemma and all who loved him. Xxx”

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Investigations into the crash are ongoing. Sergeant Jon Bates of the joint Roads Policing Unit urged witnesses to come forward: “We are still appealing for anyone who may have seen the collision, or saw the motorcycle prior to the incident, to come forward and tell us exactly what happened.”
