Fareham Man in Custody Over Brutal Attack

Police have arrested a 24-year-old man from Fareham following a stabbing in Portsmouth on Saturday, April 20. The suspect faces charges of grievous bodily harm with intent.

Although now released from custody, he remains under investigation.

Victim Treated After Two Stab Wounds

The victim, a 31-year-old Portsmouth resident, suffered two stab wounds. He is currently receiving treatment at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham. Thankfully, his injuries are not life-threatening.

Attack Traced From Tangiers Road to Lynton Grove

The violent incident began near the Co-op on Tangiers Road and continued into nearby Lynton Grove.

Witnesses Urged to Come Forward

Police are appealing for anyone who saw or heard anything related to the stabbing or events leading up to it to get in touch. Dashcam or CCTV footage could be crucial.
