Man Fatally Struck by Lorry on A249 at Key Street
Kent Police were called to a tragic scene just before midnight on Tuesday, June 28, 2022. A man had fallen onto the southbound carriageway of the A249 at its junction with Key Street near Sittingbourne.
Emergency crews from South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service rushed to the spot. Sadly, the man was hit by a lorry and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Officers are urgently seeking anyone who was driving along the A249 near Sittingbourne or near the Key Street roundabout around the time of the crash.
