Lee Thurman Busted Trying to Meet Underage Girl
Lee Thurman showed up on Thursday, 15th March, to meet who he thought was a 12-year-old girl after exchanging texts online. But it was a trap set by the local crime-fighting group, Wight Rangers.
Police Step In as Thurman Turns Violent
Police swooped on Regent Street, Shanklin, where Thurman was caught trying to carry out his twisted plans. Witnesses say Thurman fought back, kicking out and smashing evidence, before being physically restrained by Wight Rangers.
Investigation Underway
Hampshire Police have confirmed they arrested a 29-year-old man and that the investigation is ongoing. No further details have been released yet.
