Police Swarm Sandown Flats After Late-Night Incident
Early Morning Drama on Isle of Wight
Police rushed to Sandown on the Isle of Wight in the early hours of Sunday, 29 May. Witnesses spotted several police vehicles outside the old 1 Hotel on the Esplanade, now converted into flats.
Dog Unit and Multiple Patrols on Site
Among the police cars was a dog van, accompanied by two other patrol vehicles engaging with a group of people. A third police vehicle later arrived to back up the officers at the scene.
Drunken Teens Cause Trouble
A local resident said the incident involved a group of drunk youths. One individual from the group was arrested and taken away in the police van.
