Woman Attacked Then Flees to Safety
A woman was allegedly assaulted by a man she knew at around 11pm on Wednesday, 25 February 2026. The attack happened inside and outside a car before the vehicle sped off. She managed to escape and ran to a nearby house for help. The occupant drove her to a friend’s home, where police were alerted.
Kent Police Seek Witnesses and CCTV
Kent Police are keen to trace the house occupant and anyone else in the area that night who may have crucial information or CCTV footage. A 29-year-old man was arrested the next day and remains in custody as inquiries continue.
