Man Fatally Stabbed in Huyton: Murder Investigation Launched
Detectives are hunting for a killer after a man was stabbed to death in Huyton on Monday night.
Knife Attack on Kingsway
At around 8pm, emergency services rushed to Kingsway following reports of a man suffering stab wounds to his chest. Despite efforts by North West Ambulance Service, the victim later died in hospital.
Police Scramble for Clues
A major murder probe is underway. Officers are scouring CCTV footage, conducting house-to-house inquiries, and gathering forensic evidence. High-visibility patrols are out in force to reassure locals.
“This is a tragic incident which has sadly led to yet another victim of knife crime on the streets of Merseyside over the last few days,” said Detective Inspector Jennie Beck.
“We’re determined to find whoever was responsible as soon as possible and bring them to justice. We want to hear from anyone near Kingsway, Runnymede Road or Liverpool Road around 8pm who saw or heard anything, or captured CCTV or dashcam footage.
“Knife crime continues to devastate our communities. We’ll be speaking to local residents tonight—please come forward if you have information.”
