Murder Probe Launched After Man Found Stabbed in Greenford
A murder investigation is underway after a man was stabbed in Greenford and later died from his injuries.
Emergency Called to Sudbury Heights Avenue
At 5.31pm on Monday, 11th March, police and paramedics were called to Sudbury Heights Avenue following reports of a man injured inside a car.
Officers discovered a 27-year-old man with serious stab wounds. Despite rushed hospital treatment, he tragically passed away shortly after arrival.
Police Seek Witnesses and Monitor Crime Scene
Detective Chief Inspector Jim Shirley, leading the Metropolitan Police homicide team, said: “This investigation is in its early stages, but we are already working hard to identify who is responsible for this murder.
He appealed to anyone nearby who saw the attack or has relevant footage to come forward immediately.
Meanwhile, a cordon remains in place as officers maintain a strong presence in the area.
Community Reassured, No Arrests Yet
Chief Superintendent Sean Wilson, in charge of policing the West Area including Greenford, reassured locals: “You will see more police in the area in the coming days. If you have concerns, please approach them.”
No arrests have been made so far.
