Chaos at Folkestone Hotel as Man Attacks Woman and Police
Late-Night Violence at The Grand Burstin
Kent Police were called to The Grand Burstin Hotel on Marine Parade in Folkestone just after midnight on Friday, July 8, 2022. Officers responded to reports that a man had assaulted a woman inside the hotel.
Officers Threatened and Attacked
When police arrived, the situation escalated sharply. The suspect didn’t stop at attacking the woman – he also threatened and assaulted the officers on duty.
Arrest Made, Investigation Underway
A 41-year-old man was promptly arrested on suspicion of assault and assault on an emergency worker. He was taken into custody as the probe into the full circumstances continues.
