Tragic Bournemouth crash kills 84-year-old pedestrian

Police are hunting witnesses after a fatal collision in Bournemouth involving an elderly pedestrian and a car.

84-Year-Old Woman Dies After Collision

The smash happened around 5pm on Wednesday, 23 November, on New Road near the Northbourne roundabout. An 84-year-old local woman was hit by a brown Honda Jazz. She was rushed to Poole Hospital but sadly passed away on Friday evening, 25 November, due to her injuries.

Driver Unharmed, Police Appeal for Witnesses

The driver, a 79-year-old woman from Ferndown, was uninjured. Police Sergeant Joe Pardey urged anyone who saw the crash to come forward. “If you witnessed the collision and haven’t spoken to officers yet, please contact Dorset Police,” he said.
