Masked Gang Smash Into Co-Op and BP in Dead of Night
At 3.40am, four men armed with a sledgehammer broke into the Co-Op in The Borough, Downton. They smashed and grabbed tills and cigarettes before fleeing in a stolen black Audi Q7.
Same Crew Hits BP Garage at Landford
Less than an hour later, around 4.20am, the same gang targeted the BP Service Station in Landford. This time, they used crowbars to pry open doors and got away with cigarettes, another till, and various items.
Police Hunt Stocky, Masked Suspects
The burglars all have a stocky build and wore dark clothing, balaclavas, and face coverings during the raids.
DC Ben Brewster said: “We want to hear from anyone who saw or has dash cam footage of a black Audi Q7 near the times of the burglaries.
“The roads would have been quiet then, so this distinctive vehicle might have stood out. Please get in touch if you can help.”
