Armed Robbery Shakes Woolton Conservative Club
Just after 11pm on Saturday, July 31, two masked men stormed the Woolton Conservative Club on Belle Vale Road, wielding a weapon and demanding cash.
Thieves Make Off in Stolen Car Loaded with Loot
The robbers didn’t stop at cash. They grabbed three bottles of alcohol and a set of car keys before fleeing in a stolen black Dacia Stepway.
Thankfully, no one was hurt during the terrifying ordeal.
Police Urge Witnesses to Come Forward
Detective Inspector Chris Saidi described the crime as “very distressing” for staff working that night. He urged locals to speak up if they saw anything suspicious around 11pm.
“This was a very distressing incident for the people who were working that night,” said DI Saidi.
“I urge anyone near the club on Belle Vale Road at that time to contact us. Drivers and residents with CCTV or dashcam footage, please check your recordings.”
He added, “Business burglaries are not victimless crimes. They hit the community hard. We are determined to catch the culprits to stop them targeting other local businesses.”
