Lewisham on Alert: Serial Sexual Attacker Strikes Again in Ladywell
Multiple Assaults Shake Ladywell Community
Detectives in Lewisham are hunting a man suspected of carrying out a string of sexual assaults by touching against women in Ladywell. The attacks span from 7 December 2017 to 29 April 2018, leaving victims traumatised and the community on edge.
Police Release CCTV as Manhunt Intensifies
Officers have released CCTV footage of a key suspect, pleading for the public’s help to identify him. The man is described as:
- Light-skinned black male
- Aged between 18 and 30
- Slim build, around 5 feet tall
- Sports an afro hairstyle about 3-4 inches deep
- Seen wearing a dark hooded jacket (hood up), dark trousers or jeans, trainers
- Sometimes wears gloves
Detective Pleads for Public Assistance
“These incidents were very traumatic for the victims and we are appealing to the public to help us identify who this man is so that he can be apprehended as soon as possible,” said Detective Constable Tristan Hunter.
“Several victims provided very similar descriptions, suggesting these attacks could be connected. We’re stepping up patrols in Ladywell and working closely with the community to reassure residents while we hunt this offender.”
