Gosport Fire Murder Victim Named as Police Hunt Four Suspects
Police have named the woman found dead in a Gosport house fire as 27-year-old Kelly Case. Firefighters discovered Kelly at her Grange Crescent home after the blaze broke out on Tuesday, 30 July. A murder investigation is now underway.
Family Pays Heartbreaking Tribute
Kelly’s family described her as “lively and vibrant” and said they have lost their “best friend.” They added:
“She was a daughter, mother, sister and auntie and we are thinking of her. Please respect our privacy at this difficult time.”
Four Men in Custody Over Kelly’s Death
- Two men arrested this week: a 28-year-old from (location withheld) and a 32-year-old from Gosport.
- Earlier, police arrested a 26-year-old man with no fixed address and a 28-year-old Gosport local.
- All four remain in custody on suspicion of murder.
Police Ask Public for Help
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Scrase urged anyone with information to come forward. He said:
“If you were in the Grange Crescent area early Tuesday morning and noticed anything suspicious, please get in touch.”
