Fierce flames have forced residents along A30 Stroud Lane to evac after a wildfire erupted on Yateley Common near Blackwater. Drivers reported monstrous flames shooting 30 feet into the sky, sparking panic in the local community.

A total of 15 fire engines have been scrambled to tackle the blaze. Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue teams are joined by Surrey, Royal Berkshire, and specialist wildfire units from Yateley, Fleet, Hartley Wintney, and Rushmoor. Crews are battling the inferno off the A30 with urgency.
