Swastika Stickers Hide Razor Blades Near School
Shocking hate stickers bearing swastikas were found plastered on a bus shelter close to a Dunton Green school on 22 September 2021. Even more disturbing, razor blades were hidden beneath these offensive decals.
More Offensive Stickers Pop Up in Chatham
Two similar incidents hit Chatham earlier in September. On 5 September, witnesses spotted offensive stickers scattered across Henry Street. Then on 8 September, more appeared on lampposts along Reform Road. Thankfully, these did not feature razor blades or swastikas.
Police Warn Residents: Don’t Touch, Report Instead
Authorities urge locals offended by the hateful postings to report them directly to Kent Police, rather than try to remove the dangerous stickers themselves.
Inspector Matt Atkinson of Sevenoaks Community Safety Unit commented: “This is disturbing behaviour. While I don’t want to cause panic, I want to raise awareness. Promoting hateful messages is bad enough, but slapping razor blades underneath to cause harm is simply despicable.
“These stickers were placed inside a bus shelter near a school – it’s sheer luck no child was hurt.
“If anyone has information about who’s behind these or spots anything suspicious, please call 101 and do not handle the stickers yourself.”
