Dashcam Hunt Underway After Serious Bus-Tractor Crash Near Meopham

Police are on the lookout for dashcam and phone footage following a nasty collision between a bus and a tractor on the A227 South Street near Culverstone Green.

Multiple Injuries in Afternoon Smash

The crash happened around 3:25pm on Wednesday 22 May, close to the junction with Chapman’s Hill. Emergency services – including paramedics, an air ambulance, Kent Fire and Rescue, and police – rushed to the scene.

Several bus passengers, including children, were hurt and have been taken to hospital for treatment.

Serious Collision Unit Seeks Witnesses

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Unit (SCIU) is investigating and appealing for anyone who saw the crash or captured it on camera to come forward. They’re especially keen on motorists with dashcams or bystanders with phone footage.
