Manhunt Underway After Girls Shot at in Paulsgrove

Police have launched a manhunt after a group of girls aged 11 and 12 were shot at near “The Caves” in Paulsgrove, Hampshire. The terrifying incident happened late on Saturday, April 30.

Birthday Sleepover Turns Nightmare

The girls were enjoying a sleepover to celebrate a 12th birthday near the chalk pit field known as The Caves. Accompanied by one of the mum’s organising the party, the group went on a spooky walk around the area.

Gunman Fires Air Rifle, Injures Mum

Suddenly, a gang of men hiding in the caves blinded the group with torches before opening fire with an air rifle. One shot struck the mum, causing injuries.

Police Appeal for Witnesses

Hampshire Police have launched an urgent investigation and are treating the attack as an isolated incident. A spokesperson said:

“Anyone with information is urged to contact Hampshire Police on 101.”
