Tragic Crash on Parlaunt Road Claims Elderly Man’s Life
Last night at 10.34pm, a grisly smash shook Parlaunt Road. A grey Volkswagen Golf slammed into a blue Nissan Micra, sending the Micra spinning over the central verge. The out-of-control Micra then crashed into a parked Toyota Prius on the opposite side of the road.
77-Year-Old Driver Dies After Serious Injuries
The 77-year-old driver of the Nissan suffered serious injuries in the collision. Rushed to Wexham Park Hospital, he sadly later died from his wounds. The police have confirmed his death and are extending their condolences to his family.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dashcam Footage
Officers are urgently calling for anyone who saw the crash or the moments leading up to it to come forward. “If you were around Parlaunt Road at the time, please get in touch,” they said. They are also asking drivers to check dashcam footage that might shed light on this fatal incident.
