Tragic Stabbing in Gorse Hill Claims Life of Lee, 33
Lee, 33, from Park North, was fatally stabbed in the chest on Sunday 10th October 2021 at around 2:15pm. His family formally identified him this morning.
Family Mourns, Thanks Supporters
Heartbroken relatives said: “Lee will be dearly missed. We would like to thank everyone for their kind messages and support, which have brought us comfort during this sad time.”
Crime Scene and Investigation Ongoing
The chilling attack happened at a local field known as The Venney, Gorse Hill. Police have sealed off the area as forensic teams continue their work. No arrests have been made yet, but detectives report significant progress in the case.
Police Appeal for Witnesses and Dash Cams
Detective Chief Inspector Phil Walker urged the public to help: “We are supporting Lee’s family through this terrible time and ask for their privacy to be respected. We thank those who tried to save Lee and continue to work tirelessly to find those responsible.”
He added: “Anyone driving along Pinehurst Road between 2:10pm and 2:30pm who has dash cam footage is urged to contact us immediately on 101.”
