All lines at Shenfield Station remain blocked. National Rail warns disruption will drag on at least until 12.30pm, with cancellations between London Liverpool Street and Shenfield leaving commuters stranded and fuming.

The Elizabeth line has been slashed back to operate only between Heathrow Airport, London Paddington, and Gidea Park. Key stations like Harold Wood, Brentwood, and Shenfield are currently cut off.
Ticket Restrictions Scrapped – Free Travel Options Launched
In response to the chaos, National Rail has lifted all ticket restrictions for today. Even tomorrow (October 12), tickets will work on Greater Anglia services with no extra fees.

- c2c trains between London Fenchurch Street / West Ham and Southend Central
- Great Northern and Thameslink services from London Kings Cross to Hertford North and Ely
- Central Connect buses on route 12 between Wickford and Billericay
- London Underground services between Liverpool Street and London Kings Cross
- Circle line trains between Liverpool Street and Tower Hill (for London Fenchurch Street)
- Jubilee line trains between Stratford and West Ham
