Deadly Hit-and-Run Shocks Woking: Police Hunt for Key Car
A man has tragically died in a hit-and-run in Woking this morning (Sunday 8th October 2017). A major road remains shut as cops scour the scene for answers.
Silver Toyota Yaris Crashed Nearby
Less than half a mile from the fatal crash, police sealed off an area around a battered silver Toyota Yaris on 1 Road, Woking. The car smashed into a bollard and came dangerously close to smashing into a nearby building.
Vehicle Under Intense Police Investigation
The wrecked Yaris was lifted away after officers examined it on the spot. Cops have yet to confirm if it was the car involved in the hit-and-run but say it is among the prime suspects in the fatal crash.
Investigation work is ongoing as police pieced together what happened on 1 Road. The community remains on edge as detectives hunt for the driver responsible for the deadly strike and dash.
