Wootton Woman Seriously Hurt in High Street Hit-And-Run
Police are hunting witnesses after a 59-year-old woman was badly injured in a crash on Wootton High Street on Friday, December 2.
Collision on High Street
The pedestrian was struck by a silver Toyota Avensis just before 8.40pm. She suffered fractures to her leg, arm, and shoulder.
Driver Unharmed
The driver, a 32-year-old local man, escaped injury and remains in custody.
Police Appeal for Witnesses
PC Dominic said: “We want to hear from anyone who saw what happened, especially the driver of a car-derived van who passed just seconds after the crash.”
