Massive Fire Tears Through Sheerness Workshops
Kent Fire and Rescue Service raced to tackle a major blaze hitting two workshop units on Lower Road, Sheerness, this Saturday afternoon, 18 January 2025.
Firefighters Battle Flames with Full Force
The brave crews wasted no time, donning breathing apparatus and using high-powered fog spikes and main jets to douse the fire. Their quick action kept the flames under control and prevented damage spreading to nearby buildings.
No Casualties But Investigation Ongoing
Thankfully, no one was hurt during the fire. Fire chiefs praised their team’s professionalism and thanked locals for their calm cooperation throughout the emergency.
The cause of the blaze is still unknown. Police and fire investigators are asking witnesses or anyone spotting suspicious activity around Lower Road to step forward and aid the inquiry.
