Body Found of Missing Norwich Teacher Anthony Hill

Tragic news from Norwich as search teams have discovered the body of 37-year-old Anthony Hill. The missing primary school teacher from Thorpe St Andrew was found near Heathgate, close to Mousehold Heath, just before 8am on Thursday.

Identification Pending, Death Not Suspicious

While formal identification is still awaited, Norfolk Police have informed Mr Hill’s family. Authorities say the death is not being treated as suspicious, bringing some relief amid the sombre discovery.

Anthony Hill was making a career switch from his previous role at Martin Lewis’s MoneySavingExpert website to become a primary school teacher. The TV presenter himself had made a heartfelt public appeal to help find his former colleague.

Community Joins Search After Last Known Sighting

The search saw a huge community effort, with members of the public pitching in to help locate Mr Hill. He was last seen leaving his home on Plumstead Road East at 7:45am on Monday, then spotted at the Co-op on Sprowston Road at 9:58am. Police believe he then made his way towards Mousehold Heath via Gilman Road.
